A Chic Spring Bridal Shower- Chicago Brides
I am so, so incredibly excited to be sharing my Bridal Shower with you guys today! It’s been a rough year for so many brides all over the world and I have seriously never felt so happy and loved. Saturday was a Rosé and Tequila filled afternoon and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!
My sisters/ mom seriously went all out and it was absolutely perfect! When I started brainstorming with my sisters I knew I wanted to have an open space that was chic, feminine and that we could make our own. Immediately I thought DL Studio in Lincoln Park, I had worked with Debi for our engagement party and we had a wonderful experience!
Venue: DL Studio
It’s fully furnished with gorgeous white furniture, ballon fireplace, flokati throws, and crystal chandeliers (insert heart eyes). You have 3 swanky lounge areas and 5 dining tables complete with ghost chairs and white linens. You can use all the plates, glasses, vases, and silverware. Plus, it’s perfect for pictures!
Food: Blue Plate
The fun started at 12:00 pm we had light bites from Blue Plate for the guest to enjoy. We had fresh fruit, mini sandwiches, charcuterie board, and a Mediterranean spreads. Everything was delicious!
Balloons: Party With Martita
Drinks: Rosé Bar & Watermelon Tequila Love
We thought it would be a great idea to create a self-serve station by the bar. We had two gorgeous copper buckets full of Rosé decorated with mini roses. My sweet friend Claudia made a Watermelon Mint Tequila cocktail that everyone loved.
Dessert: Miski Chicago
The desserts were not only beautiful but super delicous! I was obsessed with my rosette cake made by Miski Chicago, I didn’t even want to cut it! We also had macaroons, mini cupcakes, and the cutest heart shaped alfajor dulce de leche cookies. If you were looking for me I was probably hanging out at the dessert table.
Games
Obviously we had to play some bridal shower games, which turned out to be so much fun! I didn’t realize how competitive my girlfriends were but I’m here for it! Alex joined us towards the end of the festivities and we played “who knows you best”, and he clearly has a lifetime to get all those answers correct. We also had “date night ideas” and “advice cards” which Alex and I read the following day.
I’m so happy we documented everything and everyone enjoyed themselves. Many photographers will overcharge when you say “bridal” or “wedding” but if you have a friend that has a good camera ask them to help you document your special day. We didn’t open gifts because we only had the studio for a limited time, but I’m sure that no one wanted to watch me open boxes lol.
It was truly the BEST DAY and I am so thankful for everyone who helped make my Bridal Shower so perfect and special. I’m extremely thankful for all my gals who celebrated this special moment with me!
29 DAYS TO GO!!
